Jamie is a Bay Area Native who graduated from Saint Ignatius College Prep in 2006 then the University of San Francisco in 2010 with her Bachelors in Nursing (BSN). She has worked as a school nurse, a maternal newborn nurse, and a labor & delivery nurse for over 6 years. She has collaborated throughout international and national communities to foster understanding, communication and healthcare empowerment for women and children. She is currently working towards her Masters in Nursing at California State University, Fullerton where she will graduate as a Nurse Practitioner in Women’s Health and Midwifery at the end of the Summer of 2018.
Her goal is to empower this new generation of females one individual at a time by rekindling the woman’s intuition and trust in her body.

There are times as students where mentally we are drained, emotionally we are fragile, spiritually we are lost, and physically we are exhausted. Remember, you are NOT alone. Here at CNMA we can HELP as you are Born into the midwife culture!
There are experienced volunteer CNMs in your area, or in your desired profession, who are willing to listen, guide, enlighten and motivate you through the journey.
Commitment? This is a flexible partnership and is dependent on the mentee and mentor. Time commitment can be as easy as being available via text, phone, email, facetime once a month!
