Born: CNMA Mentor-Mentee Program

Ohana means family. Family means nobody gets left behind, or forgotten.”– Lilo

There are times as students where mentally we are drained, emotionally we are fragile, spiritually we are lost, and physically we are exhausted. Remember, you are NOT alone. Here at CNMA we can HELP as you are Born into the midwife culture!

There are experienced volunteer CNMs in your area, or in your desired profession, who are willing to listen, guide, enlighten and motivate you through the journey.

Commitment? This is a flexible partnership and is dependent on the mentee and mentor. Time commitment can be as easy as being available via text, phone, email, facetime once a month!

If you are interested in participating in the CNMA mentoring program as either a Mentor or would like to become a Mentee, please email with a little information about yourself:

  1. Your school and program
  2. Expected graduation date
  3. Geographic Location: where you hope to practice
  4. Field of interest: Home birth, in hospital, clinic
  5. Contact Information

We will work hard to match you up with a mentor that is just right for you! Looking forward to hearing from you!
